How should i decorate my room if i have gold walls and a canopy bed to start off with?
I have a beautiful 1850's canopy bed, and i want to paint my walls gold. I want to go modernish with the canopy though. What CHEAP furniture, carpet, wall decorations, and any other stuff should i put in my room? I live in amarillo, Texas. PLEASE HELP ME.

White furniture (white doesnt have to be solid wood so can be cheaper), like a white dresser and night table/computer table, a couple of wavy mirrors (can be found at ikea) and a throw rug in a bright color, as well as metallic curtains in a muted shade. . . beautiful!
You leave in the USA so I think you have lots of choices.
Gold is a wonderful color to start off with. You could get some cheap stamps to stamp on the wall. get a nice mirror on the wall mirrors look cool. Shop at Home depo if you have one if not LOWS is good to. Use a light color for the carpet.

you should do a roman theme!!!
go with some aqua or baby blue furniture along with dark brown (gold sounds pretty:D )
with cheap chiek . go for a older elegant look . post the pictures of it when your done!PLEASE
