All four walls of my bedroom are angled (so when Im lying on my bed - aka - a mattress on the floor, the wall above my head is deeply angled. Any bright ideas how to create a canopy over a bed like this?

I have a queen size bed and a rectangular canopy that i want to hang over it. It comes with 4 hooks bu my dad won't let me use the hooks because u have to drill a hole in the ceiling. I tried tape but it did not work what other possible way is there.

I want to make a soundproof bed canopy for better sleep (loud housemates). I can suspend it from the ceiling or make it out of an old table-like structure.
But what sort of materials should I use for the veil?
I was thinking I could make a quilt out of thick fabrics, what materials should I use? I don't want it to be a sauna in there lol.
I can't put anything in the walls or on them.
