I ordered this canopy to go above my baby girl’s crib, in her shabby chic nursery. It looked perfect from the picture, and it was the only decorative white canopy I was able to find for a reasonable price. Shipping didn’t take long, and my canopy arrived today. It was in perfect condition, however I was disappointed to discover that the canopy is NOT all white as it appears in the picture. The main body of it is white, however the decorative part around the top is a dirty yellowy colour- I wouldn’t even call it ivory. If it had been all white, it would’ve been beautiful. I decided to keep it since the rest of the canopy is nice-very full and flowy,but I had to cut the yellow part off because it just didn’t look right.It also smelled really strong, I’m guessing from where the little sequins are stuck on. I am disappointed to have paid for a ‘fancy’ canopy and ended up with a plain one, but it looks pretty in my daughter’s nursery, and I attached a couple of little butterflies to it to accessorize it a bit! If you want a plain white canopy, don’t buy this one, unless you are willing to cut the top part off!

Compaired to others the canopys from this co are just beautiful, but the ones with a plastic ring can break especially when stuffed into a Plastic bag with a zipper ours was cracked when it arrived, not hard to repair but I would recomend a wood ring.
